American Fire Sprinkler Association
The High School Senior College Scholarship Contest is open to high school seniors who are citizens or aliens legally residing in the USA. Scholarship funds are payable to the winner’s college/university or certified trade school in the United States; winner must enroll for classes beginning no later than Fall 2017 session. Winner selection is NOT based on financial need, GPA or demographic criteria.
Scholarship entries are ONLY accepted online through the AFSA scholarship web site (www.afsascholarship.org
Entrants must submit a completed entry form with all required information. Before college scholarship funds will be awarded, all information submitted on the entry form by the entrant will be verified. If ANY false or misleading information is submitted on the entry form, the student will be disqualified without notification to the entrant.
Entrants selected as winners are required to submit the name and contact information of their chosen college/university/certified trade school* for verification of registration and payment of the scholarship to the school. All forms and processes must be completed within sixty (60) days of contest end date or your scholarship is forfeited.
- A total of $20,000 is awarded. Ten (10) winners will receive a scholarship of $2,000 each. Only one $2,000 scholarship will be awarded to any single individual from this contest.
- The scholarship is paid directly to the educational institution in the student’s account to be used for tuition and/or books for the fall 2017 semester. The scholarship monies may be used over a period not to exceed four (4) years.

Ayn Rand’s ESSAY CONTEST
Criteria: Open to high school seniors and college students. Write a 800-1,600 word essay on the novel Atlas Shruggedby Ayn Rand. See website for topics.

GLEN L. RUDD FOUNDATION SCHOLARSHIP
Criteria: This scholarship is for Polynesian students who are high school seniors, planning on enrolling in college during Fall 2020, and who are involved in service and other positive activities. Application includes six short-answer questions.
Award: $500 to $1,000 for education expenses
Deadline: April 5, 2019
HARLEQUIN DANCE SCHOLARSHIP
Criteria: Harlequin Dance will be awarding 4 scholarships each month throughout the year (contest ends on the last business day of each month by 1:00 pm MST). Submit your dance video on YouTube. Winners will be selected through a combination of online votes and a panel of judges.
Award: $250 cash
Deadline: The last business day of each month (2015)
Miss Sandy Scholarship Competition
All single ladies ages 17-25 that live, work or go to school full time in Sandy are eligible to compete.

$3,500 Scholarship to a school of her choice
Student Insights- Student-View Scholarship
Criteria: Simply complete a 15-25 minute online survey about local colleges. You will then be automatically entered into a random drawing for a scholarship award.
Award: One (1) individual prize of a $4,000 scholarship.
Two (2) individual prize of a $1,000 scholarship.
Ten (10) individual prizes, consisting of $500 scholarships each
