AMERICAN INDIAN SCHOLARSHIP (DAUGHTERS OF THE AMERICAN REVOLUTION)
Criteria: The American Indians Committee of the DAR awards this scholarship to help Native American students of any age, any tribe and in any state striving to get an education. All awards are judged based on financial need and academic achievement. This scholarship is intended to help Native American college/university and technical school students of any age, any tribe, in any state at the undergraduate or graduate level. Applicants must be Native Americans (proof of American Indian blood is required by letter or proof papers) in financial need and have a grade point average of 3.25 or higher.

DAUGHTERS OF THE AMERICAN REVOLUTION SCHOLARSHIPS
Criteria: Various scholarships are available - see the website below for a description of each. Application includes a statement of 1,000 words or less stating your career objectives, a transcript, 2-4 letters of recommendation, a list of extracurricular activities/honors received/scholastic achievements, proof of U.S. citizenship, and the financial need form.

DAVIDSON FELLOWS SCHOLARSHIP
Criteria: For students 18 and younger who have completed a significant (i.e. at or close to college graduate level) piece of work in one of the following categories: mathematics, science, literature, music, technology, philosophy, and "outside the box." Winners must be able to attend the awards reception in Washington, D.C.
Award: $10,000 - $50,000

FRANCIS CRAWFORD MARVIN AMERICAN INDIAN SCHOLARSHIP
Criteria: A candidate for this scholarship must be enrolled full time at a 2- or 4- year college or university. Applicants must be Native Americans and proof of American Indian blood is required by letter or proof papers. Students must demonstrate financial need, academic achievement, and have a 3.0 GPA or higher. A recipient may reapply for this scholarship and be considered along with other members of the applicant pool.
Award: Varies annually.

GRAND SCHOLARSHIP (FRIENDS OF NRA)
Criteria: Applicants must first compete for scholarships at the Y.E.S. Summit on June 24-30, 2013, in Washington, D.C, during which they will be assessed through an initial application and for their participation in debates and activities during the week. The second round includes an initial application, where students compile a portfolio portraying what they learned from the summit as well as how they implemented information learned there in their community.
Award: Up to $30,000

GIRLS STATE (AMERICAN LEGION)
Criteria: The Girls State program teaches young women responsible citizenship and love for God and Country. High school girls who have completed their junior year spend an intensive week of study June 10-14 at Southern Utah University working together as self-governing citizens to learn firsthand how their state and local government works.Two girls from the program will also be selected to attend Girls Nation in Washington, D.C. Tuition costs $400 for housing, meals, materials, and university credit. College credit is available for those selected to attend.

HARLEQUIN DANCE SCHOLARSHIP
Criteria: Harlequin Dance will be awarding 4 scholarships each month throughout the year (contest ends on the last business day of each month by 1:00 pm MST). Submit your dance video on YouTube. Winners will be selected through a combination of online votes and a panel of judges.
Award: $250 cash

LILLIAN AND ARTHUR DUNN SCHOLARSHIP (Daughters of the American Revolution)
Criteria: For well-qualified children of members of the NSDAR (National Society of Daughers of the American Revolution).
Award: $2,000 renewable for four years
LUCINDA BENEVENTI FINDLEY HISTORY SCHOLARSHIP (Daughters of the American Revolution)
Criteria: For seniors who have demonstrated advance interest in history and are planning to major in history at a 4-year university. Must have a minimum GPA of 3.25.

NELLIE LOVE BUTCHER MUSIC SCHOLARSHIP
Criteria: Given annually to a male or female music student who is pursuing an education in piano or voice. Special consideration shall be given to students currently attending the Duke Ellington School of the Performing Arts, Washington, DC. A performance CD (compact disc) must be submitted with the application.
Award: Up to $5,000

SONS OF ITALY SCHOLARSHIPSCriteria:
For male or female U.S. citizens of Italian descent (at least one Italian or Italian American grandparent) who will be enrolled in a four-year college for the 2013 Fall term. Additional eligibility requirements may apply to specific scholarships. Application includes transcript, resume, two letters of recommendation, test scores, and a 500-750 word essay about a personal experience which demonstrated or generated pride in your Italian heritage.
VEGETARIAN RESOURCE GROUP COLLEGE SCHOLARSHIP
Criteria: For seniors who have promoted vegetarianism in their schools and/or communities. Applicants will be judged on having shown compassion, courage, and a strong commitment to promoting a peaceful world through a vegetarian diet/lifestyle. Application includes an essay, three or more letters of recommendation (including one teacher), a transcript, and any documentation of your promotion of vegetarianism.
