Criteria: For students involved in environmental cleanup and conservation projects. Must conduct your own environmental stewardship project, take pictures of it, and write an essay explainging what your project mean to you. After you have completed your project, register and upload your best photo and accompanying essay.
AXA ACHIEVEMENT SCHOLARSHIP
Criteria: Must demonstrate ambition and self-motivation as evidenced by outstanding achievement in school, the community or the workplace. Must be recommended by an unrelated adult who can attest to the student's achievement.
Award: $2,000 - $25,000
Boston University's merit-based scholarships.
- Trustee Scholarship - Boston University's most prestigious full-tuition scholarship recognizes extraordinary academic performance and leadership ability. Students must submit two additional essays with their application for admission.
- Presidential Scholarship - This four-year $20,000 scholarship is awarded to students with exceptional academic achievements. No additional application materials are required; all students need to do to be considered is apply for admission by the scholarship deadline.
The application deadline for these scholarships is December 1, 2019

Criteria: Must have a 2.5 GPA or higher, be a senior in high school, plan to enroll full-time in a 2- or 4-year college, and be involved in school, part-time work, or community activities.

USCA Scholarship Information 2019
General Application Information
Applicant must be a high school senior who plans to attend college in the Fall of 2020.
The application and required attachments must be submitted together by the posted deadline.
Award Amount = $1000 ($500 is given to the student and $500 is given to the nominated counselor).
4 awards will be given out to students.
Award ceremony is tentatively scheduled during National School Counselor Week February 2nd - 8th, 2020.
Two letters of recommendation written by those who are familiar with your career goals, your success in school, and your personal character. ****Please do not include a letter from the counselor you are honoring in the essay portion of this application. Letters from family members will not be considered.
Complete all questions and sections in the application.

List any awards and recognitions you have received.
List clubs/organizations/teams to which you have belonged.
List volunteer community service in which you have participated.
List leadership positions you have held and the responsibility in that leadership role.
Explain how you have prepared to become college and career ready.
Upload a written essay about a school counselor who has had a positive effect and influence on you and your school success. The essay must be double spaced and two pages or less.
On the front page of the essay, please include (1) your name, (2) the name of the school counselor you are honoring and (3) a current address for that counselor.
Please Note: A copy of your essay will be mailed to your honored counselor in celebration of National School Counselor's Week.
